The five members of the co-operative have been helping one another for over 20 years, each partner bringing different strengths and roles to the table for the betterment of the whole. Our ranch located near Armena, Alberta is a unique venture. We share a passion for leading innovative approaches to raising the best quality beef while respecting our land, our animals, and the strong tradition of working cows with horses.
We view our land as a biological asset and believe that the key to producing healthy beef is by having healthy animals living off healthy land. Like all Prairie Ranchers’ members, all our cattle are raised without the use of antibiotics, added hormones or steroids. By optimizing the use of forages and science-driven feeding strategies, we thrive in maintaining a year-round supply of fresh premium quality beef.

Located near Hardisty in Alberta, the farm has been in the family for over 60 years. For us, the land has a special role not only in providing nutrient-dense beef for people but also in enhancing a healthy, thriving environment for today and for future generations. The team at Prairie Land & Cattle has a focus on improving the soils by grazing perennial and annual mixed forages according to leading-edge practices in harmony with nature.

Located south of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, the beef operation at Pine Haven Farms is focused on producing nutrient-dense beef in an environmentally enhancing way.
Our ranching approaches are rooted in the simplicity of the past, combined with fresh knowledge for a healthy and sustainable future. We have placed an emphasis on surrounding ourselves with like minded farms and ranches. We recognize the interconnections between all aspects of people, animals, the land and the broader environment, always seeking to continually identify and capture synergies that improve the whole.
